Gold price goes up by Rs 800; traded at Rs 100,300 today

KATHMANDU: The gold price has increased by Rs 800 per tola to trade at Rs 100,300 per tola today. The price of precious yellow metal was Rs 99,500 on Friday. Gold and silver outlets remained closed on Saturday. Likewise, the worked gold has fetched Rs 99,800 in the domestic market, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FeNeGoSiDA). It was traded at Rs 99,000 per tola on the previous trading day. Likewise, the silver price has reached Rs 1,365 per tola with an increase of Rs 10 per tola, according to the FeNeGoSiDA. The precious white metal was traded at Rs 1,355 on Thursday. The FeNeGoSiDA is the authorised body for fixing the price of gold and silver in the domestic market being based on international value. The gold price in the international market is around $1,947.57 per ounce (oz) today. (1 tola is equivalent to 11.66 grams, 1 ounce is equivalent to 28.3495 grams) READ ALSO:
