KATHMANDU: Triveni Rice Industry, a subsidiary of Triveni Group, has officially launched its premium offering, Amrit Bhog Basmati Rice (20kg pack), in the Nepali market. Previously, the company found success with products such as Amrit Bhog Jira Masino Rice, Amrit Bhog Sona Mansuli Rice, Nitya Jira Masino Rice, Nitya Sona Mansuli Rice, and Amrit Bhog Sonam Rice.

The grand unveiling ceremony took place in Kathmandu on Friday, attended by over 350 dealers from across Nepal. Chairman Birendra Kumar Sanghai and Director Saket Sanghai jointly unveiled the new product, marking another milestone for the company. Having officially commenced production on October 26, 2023, with its registered office in Birgunj, Parsa district, Triveni Rice Industry has, within just one and a half years, established a notable presence in the premium rice segment.

Speaking at the launch, Director Sanghai stated, “We are thrilled to introduce Amrit Bhog Basmati Rice at an introductory price of Rs 2,851 for a 20kg bag, compared to prevailing market prices of up to Rs 3,200. This launch price aims to attract customers while maintaining the same trusted quality we are known for. Just like our previous products, we are confident that Amrit Bhog Basmati Rice will win the hearts of both customers and dealers alike, as quality is something we never compromise.”

Director Mohit Khandelwal announced various incentives for bulk purchasers. Customers purchasing 150 bags will receive a 50-litre air cooler, microwave oven, 32-inch smart TV, or vacuum cleaner. Those opting for 300 bags will be entitled to a 192-litre fridge or a Vivo V40 Lite smartphone, while purchasers of 450 bags will receive an 8kg washing machine. Buyers of 750 bags will get a 1-ton air conditioner, and those purchasing 1,050 bags will receive a double-door fridge or a 65-inch smart TV. Higher-volume purchases come with even grander incentives, including a Royal Enfield Hunter 350 motorcycle for 2,100 bags and a Royal Enfield Classic 350 motorcycle for 3,150 bags.

Further reinforcing the company’s dedication to quality, Director Shubham Khandelwal assured, “At Triveni Rice Industry, we use state-of-the-art machinery that ensures our rice is moisture-free, germ-free, and hygienically packed. Quality has always been, and will always remain, our highest priority.”

As part of the larger Triveni Group, which operates more than 50 companies, Triveni Rice Industry joins a diverse portfolio that includes trusted brands such as Amrit Sunflower Oil, Amrit Mustard Oil, Rani Mustard Oil, Pam Oil, Amrit Ghee, Amrit Masur Dal, Mung Dal, and various other food products. The launch event was not only a celebration of the new rice product but also an opportunity to highlight the legacy of Triveni Group’s other food ventures, including Annapurna Vegetable Products and Triveni Dal and Oil Industries.

Annapurna Vegetable Products, established in 1990, is one of Nepal’s leading producers of edible oils, offering well-known brands such as Amrit Sunflower Oil, Amrit Mustard Oil, Soybean Oil, Pam Oil, Rani Mustard Oil, and Rani Health Sunflower Oil.
