KATHMANDU: China’s State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi returned home today after completing his three-day visit to Nepal.
Foreign Secretary Bharat Raj Paudyal, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Hou Yanqi, Chief of Protocol Durga Bahadur Subedi and senior officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) and the Embassy of China here, reached Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) to see off the special guest from the northern neighbour before his departure.

Wang arrived here on Friday leading a delegation at the friendly invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Khadka.
During his stay here, the Chinese Minister had separately called on President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and former Prime Ministers — CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli.
During the visit, the Foreign Ministry-level delegation from both countries had a bilateral meeting on Saturday and the officials concerned from both sides signed on nine Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) relating to the enhancement of mutual assistance.
