Collaboration with private sector a must: Finance Minister

GANDAKI: Finance Minister Janardan Sharma has said that the government and the private sector should work together for the prosperity of the nation. Inaugurating the Lekhnath Festival-2078 BS in Lekhnath, Kaski on Thursday, he said that the economic sector should be made dynamic by realising the political and constitutional achievements. Stressing the need for making the community self-reliant by promoting local products, he said it is possible to become self-reliant in agriculture. Lauding the contribution of the private sector to the national economy, he said the government has taken this sector as its shareholder. Talking about Pokhara being the tourism capital, he said that the tourism infrastructure is not adequate yet. Senior Vice President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Chandra Dhakal, pointed out the need to change the system of capital expenditure. By RSS READ ALSO:
