NRB reduces domestic remittance limit to Rs 25,000 per transaction per person

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has reduced the ceiling on domestic remittances with effect from Wednesday. The central bank issued a notice on Wednesday regarding the transfer of remittances to the sub-agencies and agents of remittance companies, reducing the limit to Rs 25,000 per transaction per person. Earlier, the maximum limit for such internal remittance transactions was Rs 100,000. However, no change has been made in the limit of cash remittances sent from abroad. READ ALSO:
