Parliament meeting postponed till Sunday

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) scheduled for 1:00 pm today has been postponed again till February 27. Issuing a notice, the Federal Parliament Secretariat postponed the HoR meeting till Sunday, citing a special reason. The notice reads that the HoR meeting scheduled for 1:00 pm today has been postponed till Sunday as per Rule 6 (3) of the House of Representatives Regulations-2075. Holding theoretical discussion on the US government's grant assistance-Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) compact and tabling the annual report of the Office of the Attorney General of the fiscal year 2077/78 BS were the agendas of today's HoR meeting. On Thursday, issuing a notice, the HoR meeting was postponed after the Business Advisory Committee of HoR failed to forge consensus on the issue of forwarding the MCC compact. READ ALSO:
