Government urges Nepalis in Ukraine to return home

KATHMANDU: In view of the existing situation and latest developments in Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has urged Nepalis there to return home. [gallery columns="1" link="file" size="full" ids="20061"] The Ministry has called on the Nepali community in Ukraine except those who are in dire need of staying there to return home on available commercial flights. In a notice issued today, the MoFA asked for the cancellation of Nepali people's visits to the country except for emergencies. The Nepali Embassy in Berlin, Germany said more than 38 Nepalis in Ukraine have been contacted and all of them are safe. For necessary assistance, Nepalis in the country can contact the third secretary at the embassy in Berlin, Sahara Chaulagain, via phone number 491709808063 or email: [email protected].
