KATHMANDU: Women entrepreneurs have submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba demanding to establish a woman industrial park and promote woman entrepreneurship.
A delegation led by South Asian Women Development Forum Pramila Acharya Rijal submitted the memorandum to PM Deuba.
Rijal said the delegation also urged the PM to announce the first green women industrial park and allocate budget for its successful implementation.
The first green women industrial park is being developed in public-private partnership modality to develop it as an agriculture tourism park aimed at promoting climate change resilience in an integrated manner in cooperation with Forum, Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies and Panchkhal Municipality.
