KMC to administer second dose of Pfizer vaccine from Monday

KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) is set to administer the second dose of Pfizer vaccine from February 7 to 17. The KMC decided to launch the Pfizer vaccination programme as per the meeting of the District Vaccine Coordination Committee, Kathmandu held on Thursday. Chief of the health section at KMC, Balram Tripathi, issued a notice in this regard. The vaccination programme runs every day from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm except for Saturday. The Vaccine Coordination Committee of all 32 wards in KMC will fix vaccine centres at nearby schools, according to KMC. The children between 12 to 17 years, who have received Pfizer vaccines three weeks before, will be administered the second dose. So, the children of this age group should visit the nearby vaccination centre bearing the vaccination card. READ ALSO:
