Gold price drops by Rs 400 per tola today; priced at Rs 92,100

KATHMANDU: The price of hallmark gold is Rs 92,100 per tola in the domestic market today. The gold price has dropped by Rs 400 per tola. The precious yellow metal was traded at Rs 92,500 per tola on Wednesday. As per the price fixed by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FeNeGoSiDA), the price of worked gold is Rs 91,600 per tola today. It was Rs 92,000 per tola on Wednesday. The FeNeGoSiDA said the price of silver has dropped by Rs 15 and is being traded at Rs 1,245 per tola today. The Federation is authorised to fix the price of gold and silver in the domestic market on the basis of its international price. The gold price in the international market is $1,798 per ounce (oz) today.
