Laxmi Group celebrates 48th anniversary

KATHMANDU: Laxmi Group, which started its business from sweets production at Laxmi Mithai Bhandar in 1973, celebrated its 48th anniversary. Laxmi Group celebrates its founding day on Poush 5 every year. [gallery columns="1" link="file" size="full" ids="17810"] Employees from all the companies under Laxmi Group were present at the reception of 48th Corporate and Thanksgiving Day on Monday. Chairman of Laxmi Group, Ganesh Bahadur Shrestha, inaugurated the programme with a welcome speech. On the occasion, employees who have spent 5 to 40 years in different companies under Laxmi Group were honoured. The winners of Sports Week were also honoured. This year, Laxmi Group conducted a blood donation programme at its own office yard where 65 blood donors participated. Moreover, the group cleaned up the Bhadrakali temple, distributed food items, caps, masks at Manav Sewa Ashram, Children Protection Home, Siphal; Future Home Nepal, Gothatar; and Pabitra Samaj Sewa. Likewise, 42 items including sweets, stationery, diapers, masks, sanitiser were provided to Cerebral Palsy Nepal.
