India to provide promised monetary support for development of Janakpurdham soon

DHANUSHA: Spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Bizay Sonkar Shastri, has said that the monetary assistance of Rs one billion which the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced for the development of Janakpurdham area will be provided soon. Talking in brief to journalists, Shastri, who arrived in Janakpurdham in course of a religious visit, said the relations between Nepal and India is ancient and historical. He said the Government of India would provide the announced amount soon. The BJP spokesperson also stated that the Ramayana Circuit Railway Scheme was included in the development plan of Janakpurdham. During Shastri's visit to Janaki Temple, Mahantha of the temple, Ram Tapeshwor Das, suggested he check cow smuggling reportedly taking place from Nepal to India. "There is no killing of cows in Nepal. But cows are slaughtered in India although there are four Shankaracharyas there. This should be stopped. Please, convey my message to Prime Minister Narendra Modi," the priest of the Janaki temple told Shastri. The BJP official also met with Dalit community leaders as well as the leaders of political parties at Sawari Kuti, Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City -7.
