The first phase of its construction has been finalised and the remaining portion has been planned for the next tenure, Shrestha said, expressing his confidence that the KMC would extend further financial support in the upcoming year to complete the backlog of construction works.
The park is extended over the area of 13 ropanis and has water fountain, stone-carved step, hanging garden, stone spout, MP theatre and green garden.
According to the master plan, Green Park, children park, traditional hall, a statue of Shankhadhar Sakhwa, big conge, rock climbing and rope climbing spots are to be constructed in the remaining five ropanis of land.
