Saurya Airlines to operate regular flight from Bhairahawa to Biratnagar

KATHMANDU: Saurya Airlines has started the operation of regular flights from Bhairahawa in Rupandehi district to Biratnagar in Morang from today. The domestic airlines' head office in Kathmandu told Business 360 that the preparation to operate a flight from Gautam Buddha Airport, Bhairahawa in Rupandehi district to Biratnagar Airport in Morang district has been completed and the flight will take off later today. Saurya Airlines had submitted an application to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal for permission to operate the regular flights from Province 5 to Province 1, according to airline chairman Dipak Pokharel. Saurya Airlines' Bombardier CRJ200 jet with 50-seat capacity will make one regular flight from Bhairahawa to Morang and back to Bhairahawa. The flight will take around 53 minutes to reach the destination, the airlines said. Saurya Airlines has been operating nine flights to and from Biratnagar, Bhadrapur, Bhairahawa and Dhangadhi with three aeroplanes owned by the company. Moreover, the airline has a plan to operate flights from Nepalgunj in Banke district to Rajbiraj in Saptari district. READ ALSO:
