Kathmandu: Everest Bank organised a blood donation and free health check-up camp at its head office in Lazimpat to mark its 27th anniversary.
More than 50 employees and customers of the bank donated blood to meet the growing demand for blood.
More than 100 employees and customers benefited from the free health check-up camp wherein doctors present at the programme advised participants on precautions and solutions on post-COVID complications.
Dental, Gynaecology, General Medicine, blood sugar and hypertension check-up services were provided during the camp.
On the occasion, the bank also honoured its seven staff members who have been working for more than 25 years.
Similarly, the bank under its CSR initiative signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Lalitpur Municipality to provide Electrical Crematorium Machine at Sankhamul Ghat, Lalitpur. The MoU was exchanged between Sudesh Khaling, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of EBL and Chiri Babu Maharjan, Mayor of Lalitpur Municipality. On the occasion, the bank also felicitated its oldest customer of branch office Baneshwar.
EBL, Joint Venture with Punjab National Bank, presently has millions of Customer Base, one of the highest in the industry.
Presently the Bank is rendering professionalised and efficient banking services of international standard through its wide domestic network of 105 branches, 31 revenue collection counters, 138 ATMs and also through its widest global network.
