Government forms Advertisement Board

The government has formed an Advertisement Board with the aim to regulate, monitor and operate the advertisement market under the Advertisement Regulation Act 2019. Minister of Communications & Information Technology Parvat Gurung inaugurated the board office. Five board members have been appointed: Hendra Bdr Sherchan, Balram Thapa, Bandana Danuwar, Chandra Neupane and Shuba Shankar Kandel while Joint Secretary Dilli Ram Sharma has been appointed officiating Chairman for the current time. The Board has been assigned to prepare a national policy to regulate the advertisement industry.
