Karnali Province Government unveils policies and programmes for FY 2023/24

SURKHET: Karnali Province Government on Sunday unveiled its policies and programmes for the fiscal year 2023/024. Karnali Province Governor Tilak Pariyar presented the policies and programmes with an emphasis on economic well-being, social justice, poverty alleviation, employment creation and productivity growth in the province. [gallery columns="2" size="full" link="file" ids="37616,37615"] Presenting the policies and programmes in the Province Assembly meeting, Province Governor Pariyar said that a campaign will be run in Karnali Province with the objective of providing jobs to 10,000 people. Likewise, Chief Minister Employment Programme, Dalit Employment and Chief Minister Women Income Generation Programme have been given continuity with slight modifications. The policies and programmes include developing the province as a hub for organic goods. Furthermore, the provincial government has reintroduced the plan to expand the Surkhet Airport, which was replaced by former Chief Minister Jiban Bahadur Shahi. Province Governor Pariyar stated that cooperation with the federal government will be advanced to expand the airport. The policies and programmes includes the construction of an overhead bridge at Mangalgadhi Chowk in Birendranagar and traffic light management on the roads. By RSS READ ALSO:
