NCC urges Vietnam to cooperate in trade, investment, tourism promotion in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) officials urged the Ambassador of Vietnam to Nepal, Bhutan and India, Nguyen Thanh Hai, to cooperate in promoting trade, investment and tourism in Nepal. The NCC officials, who were on a visit to India along with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, held a separate meeting with the Vietnamese Ambassador and proposed cooperation between the business groups of the two countries to create the necessary infrastructure for the construction of the Buddhist circuit. In the meeting, NCC President Rajendra Malla said the economic and diplomatic relations between the two countries should be made effective and result-oriented. He opined that religious tourism could be attracted by making a Buddhist circuit citing the massive number of followers of Buddha in Vietnam, and the existing high-level trade partnership between the two countries." On the occasion, Ambassador Hai said he would visit Nepal soon and help strengthen the business partnership between the two countries. Immediate Past President of NCC, Rajesh Kazi Shrestha, NCC Vice President duo Deepak Kumar Malhotra and Urmila Shrestha were also present in the meeting with the Vietnamese Ambassador. READ ALSO:
