Zonta Club with support of Everest Bank builds toilet in a school in Nawalparasi

Zonta Club Kathmandu with support from the Everest Bank built a toilet in Balsiddha Basic School, Madhyabindu Municipality Ward No. 15. Prabhat Upreti, Deputy Manager of Everest Bank Narayanghat Branch and Seema Golchha, President Elect of Zonta Club Kathmandu, visited the school and handed over the toilet to the Chairperson of the school committee and the Principal. Lack of toilets in schools is one of the reasons for girls to drop out from school. This hinders their education, which in turn effects their overall growth, economic empowerment and puts them in the viscous cycle of poverty, child marriage and violence.
