Nabil Bank launches NFC enabled contact less cards and POS terminals

Nabil Bank announced the launch of contactless (NFC – Near Field Communication) based payment on March 1 to bring contactless payment through their cards and POS terminals for the very first time in the country. The press statement reads that the milestone created history not just for Nabil Bank but also for the nation. “Contactless technology enables the best possible consumer payment experience and provides an opportunity to grow card usage by displacing cash transactions.” said CEO of Nabil Bank, Anil Keshary Shah.
