Calm Restaurant hosted a three-day fiesta, KTM Flea Market from October 12-14 where food, art, music, creativity and colours were celebrated. The festival was organised with the aim to bring people together to shop, explore, try different cuisines and drinks and experience a unique event that was a first of its kind in Kathmandu. The festival provided a platform for new and old businesses to showcase their talent, products and services. 21 businesses and start-ups participated with the likes of Studio Sarcastic, Dip-In Donuts, Funkey Delights, Tyre Treasures, The Mint Studio and many more. The event was sponsored by Carlsberg and co-sponsored by King’s College, Himalayan Reserve and The Old Monk with DiGi Flex as the printing partner and SP Events and Advertising as the event partner.
Prashansa Sunuwar, Marketing and PR Manager at Tangalwood, and a member of the organising team said, “We selected the given date, right before Dashain, because during this time people are in an extortionate shopping spree and morals are sky-high.”
