Thai Airways International Public Co. Ltd. organised a blood donation and cardiac health check-up programme on 31 July at Annapurna Hotel, Durbar Marg as the yearly CSR programme of Thai Airways to commemorate the 26th year of the incident in 1992. Chief guest, His Excellency Bhakavat Tanskul, Thai Ambassador to Nepal and the team of Royal Thai Embassy Nepal participated in the programme. The programme also saw the participation of Miss Nepal 2018 title holders.
More than 120 donors donated blood to the Red Cross Society, Blood Transfusion Service and maximum number of participants got the benefit of free cardiac check-up, blood sugar test, ECG and ECO Screening in association with Shahid Gangalal National Heart Centre, Kathmandu under the leadership of Dr. Arun Maskey, Senior consultant cardiologist and his team.
Travel Agents, walking clients, well-wishers, along with Thai Airways family were among the participants and donors.
