Government to formulate national culture policy

KATHMANDU: The government's policies and programmes for the next fiscal year 2023/24 mentions formulating a national culture policy. The policies and programmes of the government presented by President  Ramchandra Paudel in today's joint meeting of the House of Representatives and National Assembly of the Federal Parliament mentions that a special programme will be launched for the promotion of Nepali culture. [gallery link="file" columns="4" size="full" ids="36709,17918,23449,36711"] Pashupati and Lumbini will be developed as the specialised study centre. The government has adopted a policy to make an effort to enlist Tilaurakot and Janakpur in the world heritage sites as well as to promote Nepali culture and excavation of historical sites. Religious tourism will be promoted by beautifying religious and cultural sites, according to the government's policies and programmes. Similarly, the government will run 'Our Heritages, Beautiful Heritages' programme and literary person protection programme. Likewise, the government has adopted the policy of promoting tourism by combining it with nature and culture. By RSS READ ALSO:
