Paila Shoes is a local initiative started by Mingma Diki Sherpa in 2015. http://pailashoes.com.np Mingma Diki Sherpa was working as a communication officer in the development sector. But her heart was set on initiating a venture that would use local resources, generate employment and contribute to the economy. She started Paila Shoes with a savings of Rs 10 lakhs. Sherpa was always keen on fashion and thus was born a brand of comfortable and unique shoes. She exports her shoes to the Czech Republic, Finland, Australia and Taiwan.
