A A- A+

There are cars that are faster, there are cars with better looks, and there are a precious few which are most celebrated over time and can be legitimately dubbed ‘iconic’. Mitsubishi Pajero is one such vehicle that has stood the test of time and garnered fame world over.
The Pajero is the most successful vehicle in the infamous Dakar Rally till date, winning seven out of the last 10 races, and 15 of the full 32 races. This is where the veneration for the name Pajero comes from, and these wins along with numerous other accolades have given the SUV its strong off-road reputation. Continuing the legacy, Leon Motors, the authorized distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles for Nepal launched Mitsubishi Pajero Sport in the market in early 2016.
The new Pajero Sport combines style, luxury, cutting-edge technology and genuine four-wheel drive performance. The 7-seater SUV unmistakably fuses elegance, space and safety for urban driving with agility for off-road excitement. Pajero Sport’s deign is very sleek and has a bold muscular stance. The SUV’s aesthetics combine classic robustness with contemporary style. The front grille has tasteful Mitsubishi branding with chrome garnish. From the rear, the SUV looks equally stylish with its vertical rear combination lamps. The roof rails give it a stylish porty look along with better aerodynamics and stability. Add to it the twin-spoke 18 inch alloy wheels; you get yourself a stylish ride that is well suited for city driving and off-road touring.
Pajero Sport is powered by a 2.4L MIVEC Turbo diesel engine that delivers a maximum power of 133 KW at 3500 rpm and a peak torque of 324 Nm at 2,000 rpm. The powerful engine is paired with 8-speed automatic transmission that provides the optimum balance of engine power, fuel economy and interior quietness. This transmission improves fuel efficiency while providing smooth acceleration and low RPM at high speeds.

Pajero Sport is equipped with Mitsubishi’s Super Select II 4WD that delivers optimum performance in any road ondition, be it city roads or the most challenging conditions and rugged terrains. There are four 4WD modes, namely 2H, 4H, 4HLC and 4LLC. 2H (2WD High Range) is best used for normal road conditions and for fuel efficiency. 4H (Full Time 4WD) is ideal for rough roads and hazardous conditions. 4HLC (4WD high range with locked centre differential) is used when driving on rugged terrain with low-grip surfaces. And 4LLC (4WD Low Range with locked centre differential) provides maximum traction for steep hills, sand and deep snow. In addition, there are features like Hill Descent Control (HDC), Hill Start Assist (HSA) and an Off Road Mode for gravel, mud/snow, sand or rock for added versatility. Pajero Sport is tough enough to take you wherever your adventure takes you.
