
KATHMANDU: Ganapati Vanaspati (GVPL), a subsidiary of Lucky Group, has received ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System (EMS) certifications.
ISO 9001:2015 is the international standard that specifies requirements for a QMS. Organisations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements. Likewise, ISO 14001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for an effective environmental management system (EMS). It provides a framework that an organisation can follow.
Ganapati Vanaspati, which has been in the business for about three decades, has been producing Ramdev brand sunflower, mustard and soybean cooking oil and distributing them in the market. Ramdev is among the fastest-growing brand of premium edible oil in the market.
