Finance Minister Paudel returns home from India

KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel returned home on Saturday night after participating in the G20 Finance Ministers' meeting in Bengaluru, India. In addition to participating in the meeting of finance chiefs of the Group of 20 leading economies, Minister Paudel discussed various dimensions of economy and development with India's Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, China's Vice Minister of Finance Wang Dongwei and others. The meeting of G-20 finance ministers was held on Friday and Saturday. Minister Paudel went to India on February 23 to participate in the meeting. Although Nepal is not a member of G-20, India invited Nepal to participate in the meeting of finance chiefs of the Group of 20 leading economies. READ ALSO:
