Ambassador Poudel meets Malaysian Home Minister, HR Minister

KATHMANDU: Nepali Ambassador to Malaysia, Dilli Raj Poudel, held high-level meetings in Malaysia. Ambassador Poudel held separate meetings with Malaysian Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail and Minister for Human Resources V Sivakumar, and discussed about the expansion of bilateral relations and mutual interest between Nepal and Malaysia, according to the Embassy of Nepal in Malaysia. On the occasion, they held discussions on making qualitative as well as quantitative growth for Nepal in Malaysia — the attractive labour destination for Nepali youths. They also talked about the effective implementation of the procedure of sending Nepali workers at zero cost, additional employment opportunities, services and benefits for Nepali workers in Malaysia. They also discussed supporting each other in the promotion of the national interest of both countries through coordination on issues of bilateral, regional and multilateral welfare. During the meeting, Home Minister Ismail discussed about the high-level visit to Nepal going to be made under his leadership in the near future. During his visit to Nepal, the Home Minister will hold discussions with Nepali officials about the 'Foreign Workers Employment Relaxation Plan' of Malaysia. READ ALSO:
