PM Dahal, IFAD President discuss agro projects run in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who is in Italy, met with International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) President Alvaro Lario and held a meeting. During the meeting, they reviewed the relations between Nepal and IFAD and different projects run by IFAD in Nepal. Different projects have been launched with the financial support of IFAD in the agriculture sector of Nepal. IFAD has been providing financial support for the development of the agro sector in order to alleviate poverty and end hunger in developing countries. Nepal is a member of IFAD. Prime Minister Dahal reached Italy on Saturday to attend the United Nations Food Systems Summit+ 2 Stocktaking Moment at the FAO Headquarters in Rome, Italy. READ ALSO:
