LG OLED TV: See It to Believe It

A A- A+
CG Electronics, the authorised distributor of LG products has recently launched a new model - LG 4K OLED TVs - in the Nepali market. According to the company, the new LG OLED TVs offer best picture quality and unprecedented viewing experience. The TV uses revolutionary self-lighting pixels that are individually controlled to achieve perfect black and infinite contrast.

Features

The OLED TVs’ display is superior to LED/LCD TVs because the latter uses a technology that uses backlight that dilutes the black scenes, making them appear grey, hence making the picture less realistic. The OLED TVs have no backlight, and can render the real dark scenes with better details. The new LG OLED TVs employ self-lighting pixel, a technology unique to LG, which emits light individually and is perfect for HDR. It implements the perfect black and the undistorted life-like color as it is. And without backlight, the innovative super-slim design became possible, making the TV more attractive. Combined with infinite contrast enabled by self-lighting pixel, which can turn off light completely, the TVs provide clearer image without light leakage. Viewers can enjoy perfect black for dark scenes that come alive with greater visibility and vivid detail. In addition, the OLED HDR fully supports both Dolby Vision and the UHD, capable of showing every detail in both dark and bright images of the picture. With 8.3 million pixels, LG 4K UHD TV provides incredibly detailed and crisp pictures. It’s the combination of OLED technology with 4K UHD that makes for a truly special viewing experience. There is another innovative technology used in the OLED TVwhich is called enhanced motion clarity. It allows the pixels on the LG OLED TV to turn on 1,000 times faster than LG LED/LCD TVs, allowing viewers to enjoy fast moving scenes with minimal blur. If you love watching fast moving sport, you’ll love watching it on an OLED TV. Along with impeccable picture quality, LG OLED TV also comes with state-of-the-art audio technology. For this, LG has partnered with Harman/Kardon to develop an advanced audio technology that is employed in the new TVs. The sound system perfectly complements LG’s acclaimed picture quality. The ultra surround system delivers the immersive feeling like watching movies in the cinemas.

Smart Feature

The new TVS have new smart function, with a range of streamed content with webOS 3.0 Smart TV including Netflix, Stan, ABC iView and YouTube. And as it’s built-in, there is no need for a set top box or media player connected by cable. Moreover, this TV is recommended by Netflix for performance and ease of access when using Netflix.  Netflix is one of the world’s leading internet television networks with a huge range of popular content, including original series, documentaries and feature films.

Design

The new OLED TVs have ultra-modern design that looks very premium and attractive. LG has implemented new Picture-on-Glass design in which the panel sticks to the paper-thin glass for the first time. Since LG OLED TVs employ self-lighting pixel without backlight, it became possible to apply this Picture-on-Glass Design. As the TV is extremely thin, it is possible to attach it to the wall more closely, and the new design language will make viewer’s space unique and future-oriented. With numerous smart and convenient features, the new LG OLED TVs are all set to redefine your TV viewing experience. The TV is available in Nepal in 55 inches and is priced at Rs 855,000.
