Discussion held to establish direct flights between Kathmandu, Bahrain

KATHMANDU: Chargé d’ Affaires of Nepal to Bahrain, Aruna Ghising, and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), Mohamed Yousif AlBinfalah have held discussions on establishing Kathmandu-Bahrain direct air connection.

During the meeting held at the BAC Building on Sunday, extensive talks were held regarding starting direct flights between Kathmandu and Manama by the airlines companies registered in Nepal.

On the occasion, the BAC CEO said that he would welcome the Nepali airlines companies in the skies of Bahrain, the Nepali Embassy in Manama stated in a press release.

The discussion was also held on the Manama-Kathmandu-Manama air route to be operated by Gulf Air in the near future.

Also present in the meeting were Sunita Lakandri, attaché at the Embassy of Nepal Manama, Bahrain, and Nawal AlMajed, Route Development Head of BAC.
