Eight girls to be mentored by female ambassadors, heads of int’l organisations in Nepal

KATHMANDU: British Ambassador to Nepal, Nicola Pollitt, hosted a panel to mark International Women's Day 2022. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kiran Bajracharya of Nepal Police, tech entrepreneur Karvika Thapa of Kimbu Tech and founder of Satori Centre for the Arts and Quixote's Cove, Suvani Singh, were brought together on a panel to discuss women's barriers and opportunities for leadership through their individual experiences. The Ambassador shared that eight girls had been selected to be mentored over a year by female ambassadors, heads of international organisations and missions in Nepal to foster female leadership in the country.
