Everest Bank extends support to school in Rukum (West)

KATHMANDU: Everest Bank has extended support to Shree Yamunananda Namuna Secondary School as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The bank has been conducting various CSR programmes for the benefit of people, especially for the section of the society deprived of education and health and also conducting natural calamities management, environment preservation, cultural promotion, basic infrastructure improvement in rural areas, income earning capability enhancement of socially backward community, financial literacy, customer protection programmes. In this regard, amid a function, the Chairman of CSR Committee of Everest Bank handed over a cheque of Rs 479,910 to the Chairman of Shree Yamunananda Namuna Secondary School for the management of benches and desks of the school. Marketing and Institutional Deposit Department Head of the bank, Puspa Raj Uprety, was also present on the occasion. Presently, EBL has millions of customer base and the bank is rendering professionalised and efficient banking services through its wide domestic network of 118 branches, four extension counters, provincial offices in all seven provinces, 31 revenue collection counters, 152 ATMs and also through its widest global network.
