FENEGOSIDA submits working paper to NPC

KATHMANDU: Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA) has submitted a working paper covering various aspects of the gold and silver business to the National Planning Commission, the highest policymaking body in the country.

FENEGOSIDA President Manik Ratna Shakya and expert Raghubir Bista submitted the paper on behalf of the federation. The paper includes the issues that need to be dealt with politically for the growth and development of the gold and silver sector.

The action plan prepared by the commission of India and its contents are also included in the working paper. In the programme titled ‘Challenges and Opportunities of Nepal’s Gold and Silver Business’, the actions that have to be taken by the state and the private sector are mentioned clearly.

Acting Vice-Chairman of National Planning Commission Dil Bahadur Gurung and other organisers were present at the programme.
