KATHMANDU: '14 Peaks: Nothing Is impossible' — a film on Nirmal Purja Climbing the world’s highest 14 Peaks in 189 Days — will be released on Netflix to over 204 million members in 191 countries on coming November 29. The film will be translated into 31 different languages. Purja stood atop Shishapangma (8,027m/26,335ft) — the 14th highest mountain in the world — two years ago on October 29. The mission was complete as he managed to climb all 14 death zone peaks in just six months and six days. Purja said, "It was an incredible feeling – and it was a victory for everyone. For everyone that has a dream, for everyone that wants to go above and beyond. I wanted my 14 peak-challenge to inspire people with the love of the big mountains, but more than that, I want everyone to know that if you set your mind to something, you can achieve it - no matter who you are and where you come from." "Hard work, dedication, commitment, experience and humility will get you there," said Purja and added, "And the truth is, I’m just getting started. There is so much more to achieve. So I'm super excited to announce that my film '14 Peaks: Nothing Is Impossible' will be out on Netflix on November 29 worldwide. I’m so excited for this next chapter," said purja. He expressed his gratitude to all for joining him in the adventure. The trailer of the film is set to be released next week. Purja, the former member of the UK’s Special Forces, began his ‘Project Possible’ in April to complete all 14 peaks by November. He was the first Gurkha to join the elite Special Boat Service. He has multiple world records for speed climbing to his name. The mountaineering world believes that Purja’s project is one of a kind that tests human endurance to its limit. Purja has pushed the limits of human potential in mountaineering, according to the expedition operators. 'Beyond Possible: One Soldier, Fourteen Peaks — My Life In The Death Zone', an autobiography by Nirmal Purja, was launched in Nepal and the UK last year. Purja, a Nepali mountaineer gives an account of his incredible adventure as a UK Special Forces Operator, to a truly ground-breaking mountaineer, conquering the most hostile mountains on the planet in the book exclusively published by Safu, an imprint of Quixote’s Cove, in Nepal.
