Flights from Suketar Airport cancelled due to adverse weather

PHUNGLING: Flights at Suketar Airport in Taplejung district have been obstructed due to bad weather conditions and snowfall, according to Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC). As a result, flights to and from the district have been cancelled. As many as 14 passengers who booked tickets for Kathmandu have been stranded, said Lokendra Limbu, station in-charge of the NAC in Taplejung. On Friday, flights at the airport were obstructed due to the deposition of snow on the runway, he said.
