Relations between the two countries have been consolidating since the establishment of their relationship in 1949, he said.

Saying that tourism is the base of the development of the province, the Chief Minister expected an additional inflow of tourists from France to Nepal amid the construction of Pokhara International Airport reaching its final stage.

He also expected France’s investment in the tourism promotion and hydropower sector of Nepal.

In response, the Ambassador said that France was ready to help Nepal in its multi-sectoral development. He also pledged to provide assistance on his part for the promotion of tourism of the province and surrounding areas.
