Garima Bikas Bank partners with SCT for payment service via SCT-UPI Debit Card

KATHMANDU: Garima Bikas Bank has signed an agreement with SmartChoice Technologies (SCT) for providing payment service via SCT-UPI Debit Card. Chief Executive Officer of SCT, Narayan Prakash Bhuju, and CEO of Garima Bikas Bank, Govinda Prasad Dhakal, have signed the agreement. As per the agreement, SCT and Garima Bikas Bank will cooperate in the field of SCT-UPI Debit Card. The Bank will facilitate its customers to provide modern, secure, quality and reliable payment card facility. In addition, the use of SCT network will enable the customer to easily avail of services like ATM, PoS, e-commerce within Nepal and India. The cooperation between SCT and Garima Bikas Bank is expected to further contribute to the development of the overall digital ecosystem of the country. Garima Bikas Bank licensed 'B' class under Nepal Rastra Bank provides banking services to its customers through state-of-the-art technology. Likewise, SCT is operating with the main objective of promoting e-commerce by reducing the physical use of cash in the overall payment system as per the policy and directives of Nepal Rastra Bank.
