Gold price goes up by Rs 1,200; being traded at Rs 96,700 today

KATHMANDU: The gold price has increased by Rs 1,200 per tola to trade at Rs 96,700 per tola today. The fine gold was traded at Rs 95,500 on Sunday and remained unchanged on Monday.

Likewise, the worked gold has fetched Rs 96,200 in the domestic market, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FeNeGoSiDA). It was traded at Rs 95,000 per tola on Monday. Likewise, the silver price has reached Rs 1,320 per tola with an increase of Rs 20 per tola, according to the FeNeGoSiDA. The precious white metal was traded at Rs 1,300 on Sunday and remained unchanged on Monday. The gold price in the international market is around $1,875.83 per ounce (oz) today.
