Daayitwa hosted the Governance Symposium 2019 on August 29 at Hotel Soaltee Crowne Plaza to celebrate the completion of the 9th Cohort of the Daayitwa Nepal Public Service Fellowship. The three month long fellowship journey saw 10 young Nepali students and professionals from seven different countries, join in to support 9 Ministries and Public Agencies conduct policy reviews. With the completion of the ninth cohort, since 2013, Daayitwa Fellowship has now placed 99 young Nepalese in 28 different Ministries and Public Agencies as well as with 24 Parliamentarians. The event showcased the research works of the fellows through various panel discussion sessions including various officials from the Government of Nepal. Vice Chairman of the National Planning Commission, Prof. Dr. Pushpa Raj Kandel was Chief Guest at the event.
