KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Janardan Sharma has announced a 15% increment in the government employees’ salary from the new fiscal year.
Releasing the annual budget for the fiscal year 2022/023 on Sunday in the Federal Parliament, Finance Minister Janardan Sharma said the salary of civil servants, army personnel, police personnel, teachers and all other government employees is increased by continuing the dearness allowances to maintain their sense of service while encouraging them.
The new salary level will come into force from the beginning of the new fiscal year.
As stated in the annual budget, Federal Civil Service Act will be brought, administrative costs will be reduced, administrative restructuring will be done and good governance and effective service delivery will be ensured.
