Government to give public holiday on two days a week

KATHMANDU: The government has decided to give regular public holidays for two days a week from May 15.

The decision will remain on a trial.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers on April 26 took a decision to this effect and government Spokesperson and Communications and Information Technology, Minister Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, shared information about this today.

Minister Karki said the Cabinet meeting agreed to set 9:30 am to 5:30 pm as office hours a day and grant holidays for two days in a week.
