KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives held on Saturday passed the government's policies and programmes for the coming fiscal year 2022/23 with a majority.
Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota announced that the government's policies and programmes was passed with a majority.
Earlier, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba responded to the queries raised by lawmakers. Similarly, amendment proposal on government policies and programmes by lawmakers was rejected.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari on May 24 presented the government's policies and programmes for the coming fiscal year 2022/23 in the joint meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament.
The next meeting of the HoR has been scheduled for 6:00 pm today. Before this, a joint meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament will take place at 4:00 pm today.
