KATHMANDU: GrowByData provided 50 blankets and warm clothes to the homeless people in Kathmandu valley this winter season.
The company collaborated with the Lions Clubs of Kathmandu, Voice of Women (LCK VOW) to support their project titled ‘Project Warmth’. Under the project, GrowByData handed over 50 blankets and toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrush, and soap) to LCK VOW, on December 1.
Lions Clubs of Kathmandu, Voice of Women (LCK VOW) is a non-profit organisation that was established with the primary motto of empowering women and serving those affected with autism to survive and thrive.
LCK VOW launched 'Project Warmth' as an initiative to make this winter bearable for the homeless. The main goal was to locate and assist homeless people in the Kathmandu valley and provide them with warm clothes, blankets, food and other essentials.

Throughout December, every Thursday, LCK VOW held food, blanket, winter clothing, and medical drives in Mahaboudha, Swayambhu, Basantapur, Kalimati and Balkhu. GrowByData provided blankets to the 12 most vulnerable and homeless elderly people in Mahaboudha and Basantapur area with the support of VOW. The blankets were also distributed to the children at The Orphans Home during
Christmas on December 23.
Prior to this, the GrowByData CSR fund and their team managed to contribute RS 75,000 to New Nepal Society Centre and Rs 40,000 to Baby Life Home.
