KATHMANDU: The Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal (FHAN) is set to organise a handicraft trade fair in Kathmandu from November 19 to 21.

The FHAN has said that the 18th handicraft trade fair and 16th handicraft competition will be held at Hotel Hyatt Regency in the capital city.

In a news conference organised in Kathmandu, the Federation stated that the trade fair will be held to make the domestic and external trade of Nepali handicrafts more dynamic adding that this sector suffered a setback due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Federation’s Chairman Surendra Bhai Shakya argued that the fair would help in exploring the international market of Nepali goods and developing business ties among Nepalis and foreign handicraft traders.
