Honda celebrates 50 glorious years in Nepal

A A- A+

Honda is the world’s largest manufacturer of two wheelers identified worldwide with its ‘wings’ logo. Honda entered Nepal with the initiation of Jyoti Group in 1968. One of the companies under Jyoti Group, Syakar Trading Company Pvt. Ltd. (STC) is the sole authorised distributor of Honda motorcycles and scooters in Nepal.

Jyoti Group celebrated 50 years of Honda in Nepal at a grand event held on 19 April at Hotel Yak & Yeti. Due to the burgeoning popularity of the brand, STC, which started with importing 11 units of Honda motorcycles, at present imports over 60,000 every year. In Nepal, there are more than 100 Honda two-wheeler outlets. “Motorcycles in Nepal has been the backbone of mobility for many Nepalis and an important catalyst for the economic development of Nepal. Honda has empowered the masses with an efficient, reliable, durable, safe and comfortable means of transportation,” stated Saurabh Jyoti, Chairman, STC.

To celebrate the journey of 50 years, Honda has come up with “50 Din Ma 50 Tola Sunn” scheme in which on purchase of any Honda motorcycle or scooter, customers get a chance to win 50 tola gold in 50 days. Along with this, they will also get a scratch coupon from which they can get cash discount of Rs 4000 to Rs. 1 Lakh.

“We at Syakar and Honda are committed to continue to do our best to provide our customers with the best, suitable products at reasonable prices, backed by good aftersales support and at the same time not forgetting our responsibility towards the society and to conserving our environment. We commit to constantly train, re-train our manpower and invest in infrastructures to improve our reach and services, to better serve our customers in the coming years,” stressed Jyoti in his message to Honda users.
