Honorary Consul of the Republic of Bulgaria to Nepal honored

The Bulgarian Ambassador to Nepal H.E. Petkko Doykov on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bulgaria honored Bhola Bikram Thapa, the Honorary Consul for the Republic of Bulgaria in Nepal with the Golden Lourel Bough decoration. Thapa has been honoured with this decoration for his outstanding services in further cementing Bulgaria-Nepal diplomatic and economic ties. This is considered to be the highest civilian award. Bulgaria and Nepal established diplomatic ties in April 1968 and the Honorary Consulate of Bulgaria in Nepal in June 2011.
