Hotel Yak & Yeti organised a felicitation program for the Austrian Everest Expedition Team 1978 on April 18. During the felicitation program and cocktail reception hosted by Monika Petra Scheiblauer, General Manager of Hotel Yak & Yeti and her team, the historical climbers shared their extraordinary experiences and expressed their heartfelt connection with Nepal, which made the event a real celebration.
“The purpose of the event was to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Hotel Yak & Yeti and to honour the Austrian Everest Expedition Team of 1978 on their 40th Jubilee. As I’m an Austrian, the expedition team were my heroes from my childhood days. Everyone looks up to them in Austria and it was a pleasure to meet as well as celebrate their 40th Jubilee along with Hotel Yak & Yeti’s 40 years’ anniversary,” says Scheiblauer, General Manager of the hotel.
