Hyatt Place Kathmandu observes Earth Hour 2023

A A- A+
KATHMANDU: Hyatt Place Kathmandu went dark for an hour on March 25 to shine a light on climate action in support of Earth Hour 2023. The hotel joined millions around the world in turning off lights at 8:30 pm local time to illuminate a powerful message about environmental awareness and action. Lights throughout the hotel were switched off or dimmed with all the public areas lit up by candles. The hotel believes that even small actions can make a big difference and encourages everyone to participate in this global movement to protect the environment. All guests were encouraged to come to the lobby and participate in lighting candles with hotel colleagues before the lights were dimmed. A small reception was organised with a grazing menu featuring organic and local ingredients.
