
KATHMANDU: The companies promoted by IME Group, Global IME Bank, IGI Prudential Insurance, IME Life Insurance and IME Ltd, and IME Foundation have provided Rs 15 million in monetary assistance for people affected by the earthquake.
IME Group Co-Founder and Chairman Chandra Prasad Dhakal handed over a cheque of Rs 15 million to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Tuesday.
The monetary aid announced by the IME Group was provided for the relief and rehabilitation of people affected by the earthquake.
Minister for Finance Prakash Sharan Mahat and Chief Secretary Baikuntha Aryal were also present when the cheque was handed over to the prime minister.
IME Group Co-Founder and Managing Director Hem Raj Dhakal, Global IME Bank CEO Ratna Raj Bajracharya, IME Ltd CEO Khilendra Paudel, IGI Prudential Insurance CEO Yugesh Bhakta Bade Shrestha, Global IME Bank Deputy CEO duo Surendra Raj Regmi and Suman Pokharel and others were also present.
Along with handing over the monetary assistance, IME Group expressed condolences to the bereaved families and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.
IME Group and IME Foundation also committed to providing additional relief assistance in coordination with local administration in the earthquake-affected areas.
